Please test scripts you have previously narrated so you can validate the results.
You may test your own future books, but you won't know if they are accurate until you've read the book.

Questions and notes on some sections:

KNOWN ISSUES

  • This is a release candidate, but some details may fail (send Don the script if it fails)
  • Check out "Help" ("?")and "What's New" (it's blue) for some productivity wins via Icons in upper right corner
  • Vocabulary is crazy complicated (expensive) and takes time (5-10 min)
  • Non-fiction get different summaries from Fiction, both make sense within themselves.
  • Not every book can be read/summarized by PreRead. 95% can...
  • It can easily take 5 to 10 minutes for ALL tabs to finish. (Saving you hours later)
  • You can read/browse other tabs while the processing continues.
  • Later we may add a "send me a text/email when done" type feature. For now, be patient.
  • A 10 hour book will average about 3-5 min to get all info back to you EXCEPT Vocab.
  • Your feature requests/impressions welcomed!

OVERALL Impression

  • How would you rate this from 1 to 10?
  • What ONE feature would take it to the next level?
  • How much time do you think this might save you?

Book Summary:

  • Is the Book Summary helpful?
  • Is it reasonably accurate? (over 90%?)
  • What could be improved if we added something (what would we leave out?)
  • Note: The summary takes hours of material and reduces it to a few paragraphs—it has to leave some stuff out!
  • Let us know if it missed the mark on your script. We are tweaking and it will only get better.

Chapter Summaries:

  • Are the Chapter Summaries helpful?
  • Are they reasonably accurate? (over 90%?)
  • Anything that might save you time if we added it?

Speaking Characters notes

  • The Stars get lots of backstory, focused on details that help you voice
  • The CoStars get a little less
  • Supporting characters get a sentence or two
